Up-Sizing the Jaws
I used SolidWorks to design the jaws around the 1¾" analog limb. The limb was constrained to the axis of the handle. The geometry of the lever arm had to be changed to suit the new clearance. This fulfilled the first requirement.
Unintended benefits include: Stable work holding, Roll-out prevention, and handle anti-twist properties.
